Manmeet has over twenty years of strategic brand building experience in the Consumer Retail Lifestyle Industry.

Manmeet started her luxury and lifestyle industry journey with the LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton) Group as part of the first brand team in India for the watch and jewellery division in 2003. She worked at LVMH with TAG Heuer watches for eight years, including as Head Marketing – TAG Heuer.

Manmeet was with Tata Starbucks Pvt Ltd (a 50:50 JV between Tata Global Beverages and Starbucks), in the first four years of Starbucks in India, as Director, Head – Product, Marketing and Loyalty from 2013 – 2017. She led the brand building of Starbucks from early days in India to reach 6 cities with 94 stores upon her exit. A certified Starbucks Coffee Master, Manmeet built the food and beverage category, the loyalty program with mobile app and mobile pay, thereby, setting the required foundation for the brand in its India journey.

Manmeet was Head Marketing, India and South Asia at Visa (Sep 2017 – Jan 2019). She also worked briefly as Senior Product Manager at L’Oreal Luxury Division in 2007 managing Ralph Lauren, Armani and Biotherm beauty and skin care products.

Since 2019, Manmeet has operated as an Independent Brand Consultant enabling Brands and Start-ups across industries on various aspects relating to strategic brand building.

Manmeet was most recently Chief Brand and Digital Officer, CMO at a Tea-led beverage platform start up called Chai Point, driving the global brand building agenda for all business verticals.

Manmeet Vohra did her B. Com (Honors) from the prestigious Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University in 1999 and post-graduation from the leading brand management B-School Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA), Ahmedabad in 2002.

Recipient of multiple industry CMO awards and featuring in 2018 LinkedIn Power Profiles, Manmeet has been extensively featured as brand/ company spokesperson and woman leader in media articles and interviews with leading newspapers, magazines and diversified publications. She has been a guest speaker at prestigious B-Schools including Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad and IIM Udaipur, Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA), S.P. Jain Institute of Management (SPJIMR) Mumbai and is on the Strategic Marketing Advisory Council of MICA and formerly of S.P. Jain.
